Acrylic Painting Basics – 4 Week Beginner Course
Have you always wanted to learn to paint but weren't sure where to start?
This four-week acrylic painting course is designed specifically for beginners and provides a fun, supportive introduction to painting with acrylics. Through demonstrations, practical exercises and guided projects, you'll develop the skills and confidence to create your own artwork.
Across four Monday sessions you'll learn:
• Choosing the right paints, brushes and equipment
• Understanding acrylic mediums and how to use them
• Colour theory and confident colour mixing
• Brush techniques and paint application
• Layering, blending and creating texture
• Composition and creating depth
• Completing a finished painting
No previous painting experience is required.
Dates & times: Mondays 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th November 2026 - 10am-1pm
Venue: Flourist Art, 15 Casino Street, South Lismore
Cost: $240 pp + booking fees
Included: All paints, brushes, canvases and materials are supplied.
